FAQ
Answers to the most common questions we receive at Pulp. Hopefully these help if you get stuck while we're offline here in London!
Why haven’t I received my order?
Mostly, straight after purchase you’ll get emailed a link within minutes. Occasionally there can be a lag - sometimes depending on Etsy payment method chosen, or through Apple Pay. If purchased while logged in with Apple ID, Corjl will not be able to send you an email. You can login using your Etsy order ID. Directly in Corjl.com. If for any reason you don’t receive it or can’t locate it – as soon as I wake up I can help!
Why are some of my designs slow to download?
Occasionally downloading can take longer and you may get a message from Corjl saying you will receive an email with your downloaded design in. This is most likely on more complex designs – like seating charts or designs with loooots of pages – like placecards.Tip:It can be worth saving your work, closing down some Chrome browser tabs and refreshing to reduce the system load and try downloading again.
I ordered a double sided design and only received the front side?
The back page is on page 2. You can find this and switch between sides toward the top/middle of Corjl.
What can I edit?
You are able to edit all colours, change all text, all illustrations can be moved, scaled, or deleted. You can also add your own image or photo.
What can't I edit?
Page orientation or template size cannot be changed. If you don't see the size you require in your listing, just let me know.
How do the templates work?
Templates are an easy way to get professionally designed event stationary at a fraction of the cost. Once purchased you will gain access to Corjl a nice, simple editing software where you can easily update your details and change colours to match your event. Not account signups required – just punch your order number in a get going! All listings have a demo link so you can try out the software before purchase, and I’m always here to help (except when I'm zzzzzz!)
How and where can I print?
Once you are finished with your design save and download as a pdf or jpeg to send electronically. You will have the option to print with bleed (if you design runs right up to the page edges) and crop marks. (to enable a nice neat trim)
Please check with your print shop on what they require as some may have specific specifications when it comes to crop marks.
If you are USA based I can recommend Prints of Love - I have partnered up with them and if you use my affiliate link can receive 10% off. They include free envelopes, and plant a tree with every order!
If you are based in the UK I recommend printed.com - you can order a wedding sample pack to get an idea of their different paper stocks and see the quality of their prints.
What sizes do the templates come in?
All templates come in Inches (USA and Canada) and A sizes cm (UK, Europe and Australia) and Please make sure you edit the size for your region. With the exception of "Complete Bundles" which have been separated into separate listings. Please refer to the listing slide for exact dimensions.
A note on printing and test prints
Most printers will need a PDF with bleed turned on - this ensures any background colour or images will print to the edge. It is always recommended to get a sample printed first as colours can appear different on a backlit screen than they do on paper. Paper choice can also affect how the colour appears. Glossier paper usually will achieve a punchier, brighter appearance due to the reflective quality. If you have any questions regarding printing please don't hesitate to contact me as I would be happy to advise!
Help, why are my colours reverting to black when I download?
When this happens it could be your internet browser is overloaded or has a browser based bug. A quick browser refresh and redownload will sort the problem.
There is a weird blank box or other random bug…
Corjl works using your internet browser, usually a quick browser refresh, or empty cache will sort most browser based bugs.
